I was asked to complete a HackerRank coding challenge and then wait for the follow-up.

I finished the tasks within the 3-day window they gave me, and then I heard back that they weren’t interested. The process felt abrupt, and honestly the lack of next steps made it hard to read what happened.

On a separate timeline, I also went through the early HackerRank stage and then they scheduled a phone interview, but the interviewer never showed up. I didn’t get much beyond that, just a “meh” experience that left me feeling like the process wasn’t taken seriously. Overall, it was quick, but not in a way that felt respectful.
