I remember this process as unusually smooth and organized compared to what I’d seen elsewhere.

In total, it took about two months, and the sequence was pretty standard: an online interview, then a phone interview, and finally an onsite. Every recruiter interaction I had felt friendly and helpful, and the pace of the communications didn’t drag.

At the onsite stage, the experience felt warm from the beginning. I started with a conversation with the director of engineering that was meant to gauge that I could program, think, and communicate about style and correctness. After that, the day expanded into a longer set of interviews with HR and engineers, including time for a lunch
