Los Angeles, CAPosted Jul 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for Software Engineer with a focus on basic web and database familiarity, and it felt easy and more concept-check than deep problem-solving.

HR screen — discussed availability and set up the next step.
Technical interview (Skype/call) — covered basic HTML/CSS and JavaScript fundamentals (like block vs inline) and common concepts such as callbacks and function basics.
Optional database concepts — in the same general style of interview, SQL and core web concepts were emphasized. Outcome: No offer; takeaway: I needed stronger confidence on the basics, but the interview didn’t appear to be technically extreme.
