I had a relatively lightweight, recruiter-led start that moved quickly into more conversational technical discussion.

Recruiter outreach + scheduling — I was contacted via LinkedIn (or application selection) and scheduled for a remote technical conversation.
Technical conversation — I was asked to demonstrate technical and soft skills, with the process including potential programming exercises or tests. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and my takeaway was that earlier alignment and engagement from the technical interviewer impacted how comfortable the interview felt.
