Sunnyvale, CAPosted May 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process started with a recruiter call where they summarized the team and then dug into my resume—especially academic projects and the experience I’d listed.

After that, I had three independent virtual interviews: one with the hiring manager, one with another parallel manager, and one peer interview. The rounds felt like a blend of technical questions, discussion of my work history, and a clearer picture of what the role would actually involve.

What surprised me was how much the conversations resembled a technical discussion rather than an interrogation. I still got practical questions and room to ask things back, and the tone felt pretty respectful—like they wanted to understand how I thought and how I’d fit the specific work they were staffing.
