Recruiter outreach kicked things off, and I ended up going through a more streamlined technical interview format.

The process used the Kerat system, which meant the scheduling felt flexible, including the ability to take it on a Saturday. The entire thing was only about an hour.

Once the session started, I had a very quick self-introduction, then a set of ML questions, followed by an SQL question, and then coding/problem-solving questions. What surprised me was how the interviewer structure didn’t lock me into a fixed number of questions—if I moved quickly, they kept the session going with additional problems.

Difficulty-wise it felt easy overall, and I left feeling like it was more about fundamentals
