Los Angeles, CACandidate report, summarized by Dataford

This interview was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve ever had.

The interviewer came in sharp and hurried, and they fired off the toughest questions quickly, in a way that felt more stressful than thoughtful. I performed well despite the pace, but the whole interaction never really settled into a constructive rhythm.

Even when I did well, the tone stayed weird and tense, and it didn’t feel like the interviewer was engaged in a normal back-and-forth. Afterward, I didn’t end up taking the job, and it seemed like the interviewer was visibly upset about how things went.

I walked away knowing I could answer, but the overall atmosphere made it hard to trust
