I went through a longer, more difficult sequence with several technical rounds, then managerial and HR conversations—typical of a higher bar for DS/Algo.

Coding round(s) — I had multiple coding rounds early in the process.
Technical rounds (multiple) — Several technical interviews followed, focused on core problem-solving.
General HR round — An HR screen came after the technical loop.
Hiring manager round — A separate hiring manager discussion was also included. Outcome: No offer; the main takeaway is that the difficulty came from the sheer number of rounds and consistent technical expectations.
