I experienced an Informatica Software Engineer interview path that leaned more toward role fit and foundational engineering topics, but my result depended on how well I handled the HR/manager discussions.

Manager/technical discussion — I discussed my experience and role expectations; questions included SLDC-style thinking and practical foundations.
Technical rounds (lightweight) — I was asked about basics like SQL connectivity, Linux, and some core engineering concepts.
Manager round — I had a managerial discussion about the role and my fit.
HR round — I was also evaluated on my resume and overall communication. Outcome: I did not receive an offer in this group; in one case the HR step hurt my chances, and in another it concluded negatively due to limited openings.
