Indegene Frontend Engineer interview experience

No offer

Negative

IndiaPosted Jan 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The interview felt rough from the start because the technical part was oddly impractical.

I was asked to create a front-end page using only HTML and CSS, but they hadn’t set up any proper coding environment—there was no editor installed.

I ended up coding through basic tools like Notepad, and even the keyboard setup caused problems while I was working. The mismatch between what they asked for and what they provided made the whole round more stressful than the actual task.

I didn’t get an offer, and the experience left me with the feeling that the setup itself was what failed, not my ability to understand the assignment.
