This process started with meeting a variety of recruiters and team leads, which immediately made it feel more people-focused than purely test-focused.

Before those conversations, I completed a take-home test and then walked through my experiences.

Everyone I interacted with seemed kind, which helped a lot because I went in knowing there were multiple stakeholders involved. The difficulty level was high, and I could feel that from the way the process was structured around demonstrating experience and thinking through the take-home material.

I did receive an offer. Looking back, the thing that stuck with me was how much the kindness from the team helped offset the challenging nature of the early screening steps.
