IBM Software Engineer interview experience

Across multiple conversations, I answered questions in a style that felt focused on motivation, experience, and how I’d worked in the past.

The final round was a group-style interview with hiring managers and the team all at once. That format made the experience feel lighter than a high-stakes solo screen, and overall it didn’t seem super difficult.

I didn’t get an offer, but I finished feeling like the process was consistent—less about surprise algorithms and more about presenting my experience clearly in different settings.
