IBM Software Engineer interview experience

During my time with them, they asked me to walk through my projects first, and they treated that as a core anchor for everything else. After that, the technical direction turned toward basic DSA and SQL, and there were also OOP concepts mixed in.

I ended up getting a coding moment too—something like writing code for prime numbers—but it wasn’t the only measure. In the overall flow, I also had to discuss and explain my approach to an OA solution, then answer a separate easy leetcode question as part of the conversation.

Across the interviews, the tone was more hybrid than purely coding.
