I went into the interview expecting it to be fairly basic, and that matched what happened.

The interviewer seemed to be looking for someone entry level that they could train, so the questions were grounded in fundamentals rather than advanced problem-solving.

A lot of it connected back to my resume and covered general questions around APIs, specifically in the direction of an API Developer role. It felt like they were assessing baseline understanding and readiness to learn.

I didn’t end up getting an offer. Still, the difficulty level felt low, and it made the whole experience feel more like an initial screening than a high-stakes evaluation.
