My interview at IBM felt smooth and easy overall, and both the HR side and the interviewer were friendly and helpful.

The conversation happened online via video call, and it didn’t feel like a high-friction process.

They stayed aligned with what I’d already done—there was a focus on my previous experiences, and I got the sense they wanted to verify I was prepared and could communicate clearly.

I didn’t receive an offer, which was disappointing given how smooth the interactions felt. My reflection was that being on time and having a clean discussion helped, but it still wasn’t enough to secure the final decision.
