IBM Software Engineer interview experience

It began with an online assessment made up of two coding questions, and I didn’t pass the initial round, which meant I never reached later interviews where they would have discussed projects and broader knowledge.

In another part of the process I experienced a more straightforward, time-bounded evaluation where the overall experience felt regular and professional, but it still didn’t culminate in an offer letter for me. The biggest reflection I kept was that IBM’s screening could be quick and strict—once the assessment stage didn’t go my way, there wasn’t much opportunity to recover later.
