My interview started with an application and then a callback a bit later, where I was told to come in on a specific day.

When I arrived early, I got a quick orientation to the store and then the interview itself felt friendly and easy to talk through. I expected one role, but they told me they were shifting me into a seasonal position instead, and they made it clear that if I wasn’t open to seasonal work, I likely wouldn’t hear back.

The actual question-and-answer portion was shorter than I thought it would be. The interviewer didn’t grill me with a ton of questions; the tone was more supportive and relaxed, and they used the conversation to gauge fit rather than run through a long interview checklist.
