I interviewed as a fresher, and the whole conversation leaned strongly into OOPs—less like quick definitions and more like digging into the concepts with real-time examples.

The first part of the process was a coding round on the Hackerrank platform, and it acted as the filter: once candidates did that round, they were shortlisted for the interview.

After the coding stage, the technical discussion stayed grounded in OOPs, but the level of detail I got was what stood out. The experience overall felt average in difficulty, and because the first-round coding was the gate, the interview itself felt like it was trying to assess how well I actually understood what I’d studied rather than asking purely trick questions.
