Urbandale, IAPosted Jun 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

Before I even got into the interviews, I realized something was off—the job description they posted didn’t match the role I ended up talking about.

Because of that mismatch, I wasn’t as prepared as I would’ve been if the expectations were accurate.

Still, the interview itself with the interviewer felt good, and the conversation leaned on structured answers all the way through, with STAR-style responses being a consistent theme. It wasn’t a bad experience in terms of tone, but the wrong job description affected how ready I felt going in. I didn’t receive an offer, and the most honest part for me was that the preparation friction started before I ever joined the call.
