Honeywell Software Engineer interview experience

It was framed as a replacement position for that person, so a lot of the early conversation tied back to that need and what the role would cover.

Difficulty felt average overall, but the tone and goal of the conversation were more about the situation than pushing deep into technical challenges. Since I didn’t receive an offer, the experience left me feeling like the role’s timing and replacement context mattered a lot.

My reflection was that even when the discussion is straightforward, the biggest factor can still be how specifically the position is defined around internal transitions.
