Health Care Service Corporation Software Engineer interview experience

Dallas, TXPosted Nov 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I did a digital interview where I recorded answers to four questions, and the rest of the interaction involved typing responses.

The questions were easy, but it also felt repetitive—like they asked similar things multiple times.

Even though the interview itself was simple, I didn’t get an offer. The feeling I left with was that the process was geared more toward checking basic signals than evaluating deep problem-solving.

Difficulty was easy, and the main takeaway was that “easy” didn’t automatically mean “moving forward,” since it still ended in a rejection.
