Health Care Service Corporation Software Engineer interview experience

The people running it were very good, and overall I had a positive experience, even though the questions themselves were tough.

The interview was relatively short—about half an hour—and it stayed grounded in what they were evaluating. Even with the tougher questions, it didn’t feel unfair or chaotic; it was more like a quick test of whether I could handle the role’s expectations.

I didn’t get an offer. Still, I walked away feeling like the process was well-run, and that the difficulty matched the “tough but fair” tone they set.
