After applying, I took their math assessment test.

The questions felt poorly worded and confusing to me, even though I didn’t find the material conceptually impossible.

I scored very differently than I expected based on my GRE quant performance: I got 9 out of 14 on their math test even though my GRE quant score was much higher. Once I finished, I received an automated email saying I’d get another chance after a certain number of days, which made the whole communication feel oddly informal. I didn’t end up with an offer, and the main thing I carried away was that the wording of the test—not the difficulty of the math—was what threw me off.
