Houston, TXPosted Jul 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The process was simple in sequence: I applied online, took a test with about fifteen GRE-style questions, then had a fifteen-minute phone interview with HR.

If I advanced, I would have an in-person interview.

What stood out was that the job description suggested they’d teach if I hadn’t studied computer science or coding formally. After speaking with them, though, it felt like they highly favored people who already knew how to code. I didn’t get an offer, and honestly the mismatch between the description and what they valued made the whole thing feel less open than advertised.
