I encountered technical questioning that was practical and experience-based, with emphasis on my domain knowledge and how I operate reliably.

Offshore/deep-water experience discussion — I spoke with hiring managers about offshore and deep-water experience, including North Sea context, plus behavioral questions like handling conflicts.
Structured operational approach (single role context) — I explained how I follow a structured list for operations to ensure each step leads logically to the next, tied to consistency in a single MWD role.

Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, but the takeaway is that concrete operational discipline and relevant domain experience carry weight.
