HackerRank Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

United StatesPosted Nov 2014 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied online and then received an invite link to complete HackerRank’s coding assessment.

It consisted of two questions total, including big integer manipulation and a tree traversal problem, and the whole thing took about 90 minutes.

Before starting, I focused on big integer handling because the experience strongly suggested long integer operations would matter more than typical language defaults. I was still waiting for results when the process ended on my side, so I didn’t get an offer from what I saw.
