I went through a pretty clean four-stage process that started with a chat with the recruiter, moved to the hiring manager, and then into two technical rounds: a coding assessment and a systems design interview.

Throughout the whole process, the communication felt smooth and responsive, which immediately reduced a lot of the anxiety I usually get.

The coding part wasn’t a typical LeetCode format. Instead, it was based on a more realistic scenario, and the whole point felt like it was to see how I communicated my thinking, how I handled problems, and whether I could explain my process clearly to others—not just whether I could solve something in isolation. The behavioral portion also came across as about working independently and coordinating across time zones.
