I was excited when I first heard from GoTo through their Workday system and quickly responded with availability to schedule a first screen.

After several days with no update, I followed up by email, and then I reached out again through LinkedIn to the person listed in the original message, reiterating interest and offering even more times.

Instead of scheduling, I got told the role had been closed. There wasn’t any real acknowledgment of my follow-ups, just a vague reply and then, when I pushed back about the fact that I’d responded promptly to their request, I was given a dismissal along the lines of nothing showing up in their inbox. The experience left me feeling genuinely ghosted after they asked for my availability.
