I hit a tougher, longer pipeline where early technical performance (especially in live coding/DSA) determined whether I even progressed, and at least one stage ended my candidacy.

Recruiter screen — I was asked about my experience, technical background, and motivation.
Phone / first technical coding round(s) — I faced multiple DSA/problem-solving interviews with LeetCode-style live coding; difficulty was described as high and required strong preparation.
Additional coding round(s) — I encountered follow-ups and hints, but still couldn’t finish solving the full problem in the time given.
Manager / Googliness-style round — in the full version of the loop, this part was intended to assess profile fit and how my team/motivation matched.
