I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at Glassdoor with an average-difficulty process that included a take-home followed by technical reviews.

Team/role fit + screening — We started with a discussion focused on my fit for the role and team.
Take-home exercise — I completed a take-home task.
Technical interview (review + design) — I walked through the take-home and then fielded architectural and system design questions.
Technical interview (general concepts) — We covered Node.js plus databases across SQL and document stores. Outcome: No offer, but the process felt structured and role-relevant—especially the hands-on take-home and design follow-ups.
