I interviewed for a Glassdoor Software Engineer role where early filtering leaned heavily on tests and aptitude-style questions, alongside light technical screening.

Quantitative aptitude test — A timed section with numerical and reasoning questions; it included negative marking.
Online assessment — Another experience described an online assessment mixing aptitude and technical questions to gauge overall worthiness for the role.
Follow-on interview questions — After the online stage, the process continued with questions intended to check that I matched what the role needed. Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was to be ready for test formats (including scoring/penalties) before any deeper technical discussion.
