I went through what seemed like a normal start: I had a Google Meet conversation scheduled, and then I waited.

The outcome ended up being confusing. I received a rejection a week later, and the message thanked me for having a Google Meet conversation with the company—except I hadn’t had that call at all, and I wasn’t even invited.

I never got an offer, and the thing that bothered me most was not the rejection itself, but the fact that the process appeared to be operating on a wrong or missing record. It left me with more uncertainty than clarity about what actually happened after my application.
