I experienced an end-to-end process that started with HR, then a manager conversation, then a take-home followed by live coding—straightforward overall, though communication and momentum varied.

HR phone interview — an initial screening call, then a follow-up conversation with the manager.
Manager conversation — discussing fit and next steps.
Take-home assignment — a one-week deadline assignment.
Live coding session — a final live coding stage after the take-home. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; I appreciated the speed of feedback in one case, but overall the take-home-to-live-coding step didn’t result in a hire.
