Arlington, VAPosted Nov 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a multi-round Gartner Account Executive journey with frequent roleplays and a final panel/leadership evaluation, and it felt intense but well-supported over roughly a month.

Initial screening — a first interview to check communication style and baseline fit.
Roleplay: discovery — I ran a simulated discovery call, using active listening and structured questioning to uncover customer needs.
Roleplay: pitch/objections — I pitched a solution and handled objections to show how I communicate value under pressure.
Panel/leadership interview — a leadership-style conversation focused on strategic thinking and cultural contribution, plus a realistic “meeting” where one person acted as an executive customer while others observed.
