I went through a long, recruiter-driven Gartner Account Executive process where the hardest part wasn’t just the interviews—it was the inconsistent scheduling and follow-through.

Introductory call — a 30-minute STAR-focused screening about fit, background, and the role.
Role-play session — a sales role play, typically followed by more demanding behavioral probing.
Manager / panel interview — multiple rounds with hiring managers/VPs depending on the path, with deeper questions on your experience and how you’d operate in the role.
Recruitment & business introduction meeting — an additional stage that felt process-heavy.
Outcome stage / waiting period — I progressed into later rounds but then faced long delays, missing updates, or eventually
