Irving, TXPosted Dec 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I experienced Gartner’s Account Executive process as especially difficult and high-scrutiny, running for several rounds over about six weeks with uneven interviewer fit.

Recruiter screen + initial rounds — early conversations moved me forward quickly, but the experience varied by interviewer.
Multiple recruiter-led stages — I was pushed through more interviews, including at least one virtual session where coordination felt poor in timing.
Prep expectations — there were expectations to prepare and possibly do cold-mock style work, but support wasn’t always aligned with what was needed.
Final interview/panel moment — I felt my performance was strong until the last conversation, where the fit didn’t “click,” and I was rejected shortly
