I experienced a structured but grueling Account Executive interview cycle where the format was consistent and they were strict about how I showed fit—especially through feedback requests and STAR storytelling.

TA/recruiter rounds — initial conversations with clear expectations, including behavioral and motivation prompts.
Skills assessment — continued STAR-aligned behavioral questioning, with set questions and a “perfect candidate” feel.
Role play rounds (multiple) — at least one mock sales scenario and then a second panel-oriented role play.
Panel / final round — another round intended to verify execution and coachability.
Outcome: No offer; I learned to prepare very tightly for the exact format and to treat feedback solicitation as part of the evaluation.
