After investing real time into the process, I ran into a lack of communication and scheduling follow-through, and it left a sour feeling despite preparation.

Recruiter / early stage — I was able to get guidance and felt supported initially (clear communication and help with next steps).
Final interview — After the last interview, I didn’t hear back and there was complete silence for weeks.
Scheduling issue — In another attempt, the recruiter and hiring manager no-showed and never replied to follow-ups.
Outcome: No offer; the takeaway was that responsiveness matters as much as performance, and silence after final interviews can be the real deal-breaker.
