I interviewed for the Account Executive role through a shorter, lower-touch journey compared to many others—still structured, but it didn’t feel as demanding as the multi-week processes.

Recruiter screen — a straightforward chat about my background and motivations.
Role-play / sales simulation — a mock scenario focused on how I’d respond in a sales context.
Hiring manager / senior leader round — a final conversation with role-play elements and basic sales interview questions.
Outcome: No offer; I learned that even when the process feels simpler, you still need to perform clearly in the role play and stay aligned with what they’re looking for.
