Dallas, TXPosted Dec 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a long, rigorous Gartner Account Executive interview track that demanded major time investment, and it felt more like heavy preparation than standard interviews.

Multiple rounds with prep meetings — I was expected to spend at least 40 hours between studying, memorizing, and preparing a cold meeting mock presentation.
High expectations on fit/performance — the hiring criteria felt misplaced to me even though the interviewers were competent. Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that this loop is extremely prep-intensive and suits candidates who enjoy “school-like” grind.
