I had a confusing early recruiter conversation where the role I applied for didn’t match what I was being considered for.

Recruiter phone call — I was told the position I applied for wasn’t actually the one I was under consideration.
Follow-up clarification — I requested the correct written job description, but I was told none existed, and the recruiter still wanted to talk.
Outcome: No offer — I couldn’t get a clear explanation of what role I was interviewing for, which made the process feel off from the start.
