Mission Viejo, CAPosted Nov 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a very quick, low-stakes Gap interview experience for an Account Executive role, centered on fit, communication, and straightforward “why this job” questions.

In-store manager office interview (short) — I answered questions about why I wanted the job and my qualifications, plus background details like education and prior roles.
Group interview (communications-focused) — I took part in a group format where the manager asked prompts and others jumped in to answer, aiming to see how well I communicated with coworkers. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the takeaway was that showing clear communication and genuine interest outweighed anything complex.
