Los Angeles, CAPosted May 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for an Account Executive role with Gap through a group-style process that felt more competitive and a bit harder because there were many people in the room and it sometimes ran over time.

Group interview (store/backroom setup) — I was in a group with around 6–12 people, asked a similar set of questions in turn, and had to stand out while keeping good focus.
Basic customer-service and fit questions — The questions centered on how I’d interact with customers and handle everyday situations; interviewers also covered what mattered for performance and sometimes shared company history.
Second-round scheduling — In one version, after the group Q&A, they said I’d hear back in about a week for a general manager interview.
**Stretched pacing / environment
