San Francisco, CAPosted Oct 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a relatively clear, multi-step interview path for an Account Executive role, with early clarity on the job and later rounds that stayed practical.

Quick first phone call — I discussed responsibilities and salary, and I got a preview of what the next step would look like.
In-person or higher-ups meeting — I had a more professional interview that still focused on fit.
Shadowing component (in one version) — I was given the opportunity to shadow someone in the business to understand the day-to-day. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and the takeaway is that the process emphasized understanding the work directly, not technical testing.
