Healdsburg, CAPosted Mar 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for an Account Executive role with multiple steps, but the process didn’t end in an offer and I ended up viewing it as a fit issue or slow follow-up.

Initial call and virtual follow-up — I started with a phone call and then a virtual meeting.
Director-level conversation (in some versions) — I encountered questions that went beyond professional background, and I felt unsure how appropriate some prompts were.
HQ final / in-person (in another version) — One candidate experience included a final at company headquarters after multiple interviews. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and the takeaway is that even when interviews feel friendly, fit and follow-through matter.
