Modesto, CAPosted Oct 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed in a more extended, higher-effort process where the hardest part was the volume and the final negotiation details, not technical questioning.

Multiple rounds with heavy throughput (interviewing large candidate volume) — I went through an exhaustive screening sequence after many candidates were reviewed.
Final in-person interview (travel for the last step) — I was flown out for the final interview.
Offer outcome / negotiation — I was offered the role but not at the expected compensation level. Outcome: I didn’t get the rate I wanted, and the takeaway is to align expectations early before the final offer.
