I had a fairly traditional setup compared to some of the stress-heavy processes.

It started with a normal calculations test, followed by technical and HR interviews. The technical conversation focused more on my background alongside puzzles and fast calculations, and it didn’t require specific prior knowledge of trading or finance.

In the HR interview, the questions were the typical kind—why I was interested in the company, preferences around location, and other standard background themes. Even though the technical portion wasn’t about trading knowledge, it still felt like they wanted evidence that I could think quickly and handle the mental speed part of the work.
