San Francisco, CAPosted Dec 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a more immigration-focused sequence that started with an introduction and then quickly moved into details about my past work and responsibilities.

I was asked to walk through what I’d done previously, including what I knew about immigration—covering both the factual side of the topic and my familiarity with education and background.

The interview felt more challenging in tone than purely general screenings I’d had elsewhere. Even when the questions were standard in structure, they were directed at how I understood immigration topics and how clearly I could describe my experience. There was also a noticeable emphasis on being able to handle difficult situations, not just recite resume details.

Overall, the process felt demanding enough
