United KingdomPosted Oct 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a consulting role, and at first it seemed like a normal multi-round process.

But after going through nearly four rounds and waiting around two weeks for feedback, I received a rejection email that felt automated and generic. The delay and the tone of the response really undermined the experience.

Even though the interview stages themselves were what I expected on paper, the lack of care in the wrap-up made the whole thing feel pointless. It left me with a clear impression that candidate experience wasn’t a priority.

I never received an offer, and honestly the communication at the end is what stuck with me most. I walked away feeling relieved it hadn’t progressed
