Cambridge, MAPosted Jun 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

After meeting with a recruiter and the hiring manager, I interviewed with a range of people at different levels, including peers.

The questions were mostly behavioral, aimed at client-facing scenarios an analyst would run into, and the interviewers definitely challenged me to see how I handled ambiguity and pushback.

Once I got past the interview rounds, the process shifted into the research-and-writing portion. I had to research and write a report together with the person I’d be reporting to, and after that I presented and defended my findings. In my case, the research and presentation effort was described as roughly a month-long cycle, which felt excessive until I understood the depth they were looking for.
